Bond Lake located in northern Richmond Hill, within an hour drive from downtown Toronto. There is a scenic hiking trail around the shoreline of the lake, where you can pick a spot to sit for a while to relax and enjoy the view of the fall colours mirror on the quiet lake.
There are a few access points to the trail on Yonge Street and also on Old Colony Road. This trail is unmaintained, mainly a dirt path and some part of it is quite narrow and steep. We spent about 2 hours to complete the loop included a lot of pictures taking and had a picnic lunch in the woods. It is connected to the Oak Ridges Trail that you can extend your hiking trip to spend more time in the nature.
