Don River Valley Park and Lower Don Trail reopened last month after two years of closure and construction. Here are the few new things you will notice when you walk on the trail:
-The newly renovated Belleville underpass featuring historic photographs.
– New Pottery Road cycling bridge by Toronto architecture and urban design firm DTAH.
– New signage helps people navigate the trail with information like distance, points of interest, as well as trail etiquette reminder.
– New public art “Monsters for Beauty, Permanence and Individuality,” by Duane Linklater, it consists of 14 concrete copies of bits of Toronto’s architecture placed in the view of Prince Edward Viaduct.
